Structure and Timing of The GRE Test 

The GRE test is composed of three sections: Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Analytical Writing. The table below clearly shows the  question types, time and grades.  The overall time for the GRE Test is about three hours and 45 minutes. There are six sections with a 10-minute break following the third section.
